Going to read Ps Magazine. Which is short for (PostScript) Ps Preventive Manual Magazine. In 1951 The Army did a series of how-to comics on preventative maintenance and invited Will Eisner to draw them. I discovered them by chance as I was looking for old comics and they are are a very interesting dive into how comics could be used for this specific task. Have a great weekend !

These are among my favorite of Eisner's work. His brush work is fantastic and his style really shines in the single image to small page count stories. It feels more like what he did later in his career. One page observational comics. Which I think is his best works.

Thank you for sharing that. In my world, the Haynes automotive repair manual was Pandora’s Notebook because you actually reached out to it knowing there was hope to get the thing going. But now that I found the PS mag I see that theres a great way to bring everyone onto preventative maintenance and wrenching as well
