Comic Book Nerds, What Are We Going To Do Post-Crisis?
I was expecting DC Comics to reboot in 2020, but not Earth!
Good afternoon True Believers,
I hope you are doing well, and the comic books you read bring you some comfort during these uncertain times.
Here are some highlights from our reviews (click on the title to read more):
SUICIDE SQUAD #4 STARTS OFFERING SOME ANSWERS
This was an expositional issue for this mystery-driven series. But this creative team even does that well. Even amid backstory and answers, we can tell this is just a momentary dip in an otherwise stellar run.
IT'S ALL A GRAY AREA WITH FALCON & WINTER SOLDIER #2
Derek Landy's second character-driven installment is enjoyable, but it doesn't quite kick the mystery into high gear.
GRAPHIC NOVEL REVIEW: BOG BODIES – NO LOOSE ENDS
A wholly original and unforgettable take on small-scale crime and its haunting effects.
THE 6 MILLION DOLLAR MAN IN JAPAN COLLECTION BRINGS THE FUN IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE
THE 6 MILLION DOLLAR MAN IN JAPAN collection is a departure from the Steve Austin you know and love, but the book is thoroughly entertaining.
TALES OF MFR
Jamie Jones and I just published our 51st page of Tales of MFR. Check it out below, or read from the being here: TALES OF MFR COMIC STRIP
